About the Role
We're looking for an experienced, team-oriented Production Audio Lead to create exceptional audio experiences across our weekend gatherings, broadcast productions, and studio recording environments. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, highly organized, solutions-oriented, and passionate about using production excellence to help people encounter Jesus.
What You'll Do
Weekend Gatherings & Broadcast Audio
- Lead front-of-house audio mixing for weekend services and special events.
- Ensure audio quality serves both the in-room congregation and online broadcast audience.
- Manage and maintain audio routing, patching, signal flow, and system configuration.
- Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively in live environments.
- Partner with worship, production, and communications teams to deliver a consistent and excellent experience.
Team Development
- Recruit, train, and develop volunteer audio engineers.
- Create systems and processes that help volunteers grow in confidence and competency.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and ongoing development opportunities for team members.
- Build a culture of humility, excellence, ownership, and teamwork within the production ministry.
Recording, Media & Post-Production
- Assist with audio setup and capture for video shoots, interviews, podcasts, and studio recording sessions.
- Prepare and deploy microphones, recording equipment, and monitoring solutions as needed.
- Perform audio cleanup, editing, and processing for recorded content.
- Work within DAWs to prepare and deliver content across podcasts, videos, and other media projects.
- Collaborate with Creative teams throughout pre-production to final delivery.
What We're Looking For
Required
- Experience mixing front-of-house audio in live event, church, concert, or production environments.
- Strong understanding of audio signal flow, routing, gain structure, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure live production situations.
- Experience training, coaching, or leading volunteers and teams.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience with Allen & Heath digital audio systems.
- Familiarity with wireless microphone systems, recording equipment, and audio networking.
- Experience with DAWs such as Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, or Reaper.
- Background in church production, broadcast media, podcast production, or studio recording.
