Mission
The Social Media Manager helps invite people into what God is doing at LCC by sharing compelling, engaging content across our social media platforms and website.
LCC is growing and we are looking for someone to help us grow and grow with us. The ideal candidate has worked at a church with 3,000+ weekly attendance and/or multiple campuses, or has worked for a large organization managing and executing social media calendars, content, projects, and creative direction.

Overview
This role is for someone who loves storytelling, has an eye for strong visuals, and enjoys bringing clarity and consistency to digital communication. You’ll help shape how LCC shows up online by capturing meaningful moments, building a steady content rhythm, and supporting ministry celebrations and events through excellent digital presence.
Responsibilities
Content & Storytelling
- Capture and share stories through photos, videos, and written recaps (at least one story each week).
- Create fresh, on-brand content to post each day on social media.
- Create graphics for social media using Adobe Suite and/or Canva.
Social Platforms & Community
- Manage all LCC social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Collaborate with the Next Gen team to support and strengthen their social platforms (Instagram and YouTube).
- Manage the LCC Google Business Profile.
Ads & Campaigns
- Create and schedule digital ads on the Meta Business Suite to support events and ministry moments.
Planning & Systems
- Manage the social media content calendar based on story distribution, upcoming events, and ministry celebrations.
- Onboard, train, and manage volunteer teams (social media, photography, online chat) and develop systems that ensure consistent quality.
Photography
- Oversee photography for ministry gatherings and events.
- Build and lead volunteer photographers to ensure meaningful moments are captured consistently.
YouTube & Podcast
- Manage the YouTube channel and LCC Message Podcast.
Competencies
- Strong project manager and self-starter who takes initiative and follows through.
- Able to consistently create fresh content within brand guidelines.
- Strong knowledge of Canon photo cameras, Lightroom, and photography principles.
- Strong team-builder who enjoys equipping volunteers and handing off responsibility well.
- Highly organized with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Comfortable with project management software like Monday, ClickUp, Airtable, etc.
- Basic graphic design ability with comfort using Adobe Suite and/or Canva.
