Communications Director

Victory Family Church is looking for a strategic, creative, and mission-driven Communications Director to lead the voice, brand, and communication strategy of our church. This senior leadership role exists to help people inside and outside the church clearly see who we are, what we believe, and how they can take their next step toward Christ.
You’ll lead the development of church-wide communications, digital marketing, branding, storytelling, and promotional strategy across every platform and campus. From weekend experiences to social media campaigns, from volunteer leadership to community outreach, this role helps ensure that everything people read, touch, or click reflects the heart and mission of Victory.

What You’ll Do
Lead Communications & Marketing Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive communications and marketing strategy for the church and its ministries
- Oversee internal and external messaging across all channels and campuses
- Ensure consistency in branding, voice, tone, and visual identity
- Create strategies that effectively engage both church attenders and those outside the church
Drive Digital Engagement
- Lead digital marketing initiatives including:
- Email marketing
- Text communication
- Social media strategy
- SEO/SEM initiatives
- Website and online engagement
- Oversee campaign planning, promotion schedules, and communication workflows
- Measure and evaluate campaign effectiveness and engagement metrics
Lead Creative & Communications Teams
- Build, lead, and develop communications staff and volunteer teams
- Equip and empower team members to grow in leadership and ministry effectiveness
- Foster collaboration across ministries, campuses, and departments
- Manage vendor relationships and outsourced creative or marketing services
Support Weekend Experiences & Ministry Events
- Collaborate with ministry leaders and the Experience Team to support weekend services and major events
- Ensure promotions and communication align with the church calendar, teaching series, and ministry goals
- Help create cohesive and engaging experiences across all touchpoints
Oversee Department Operations
- Manage communication department budgets and resources
- Maintain systems, workflows, and project timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Stay informed on emerging communication, marketing, and church engagement trends
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of full-time experience in communications, marketing, branding, or related leadership roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Strong leadership experience managing creative teams, staff, and/or volunteers
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience leading digital communication and marketing projects from strategy to execution
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Understanding of communication strategies that connect with both church audiences and the broader community
- Awareness of current and emerging trends in communications, media, and church engagement

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 (based on experience)
