Summary of Role: The Campus Worship & Production Director provides leadership and oversight for all worship and production environments at the campus, ensuring alignment with the Emmanuel Church vision to see people come to Christ and grow in Christ. This role carries two primary areas of responsibility: Worship and Production.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Worship
- Lead and execute the centralized worship vision for weekend services; serve with the adult worship team at least 75% of weekends
- Plan and prepare campus-specific worship sets, including use of Ableton Live
- Shepherd the spiritual, musical, and personal growth of worship team members through regular check-ins
- Facilitate team development opportunities such as rehearsals, trainings, and workshops
- Oversee scheduling and communication using Planning Center
- Recruit, audition, and onboard new musicians following established processes
- Submit bi-weekly payroll for contracted worship and production Impact Team members
- Partner with Student and Family Ministries to support worship environments across all age groups
- Assist the Campus Pastor with campus-specific events (e.g., weddings, funerals)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Production
- Oversee all campus production environments, ensuring excellence and consistency
- Plan and execute production elements for weekend services and special programming
- Recruit, train, develop, and schedule adult and Family Ministries production Impact Team members
- Maintain and steward all production equipment
- Develop and manage the annual production budget in partnership with the Campus Pastor and Central Production leadership
- Maintain regular communication with the Campus Pastor to support feedback, growth, and campus development
- Collaborate with the Centralized Director of Production on stage design and implementation
- Provide production support for church-wide, family ministry, and campus events
- Ensure campus production standards and systems are consistently maintained
Qualifications and Requirements
Education and/or Experience
General
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
Worship
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading congregational worship and teams
- Strong vocal ability; instrumental proficiency (guitar, keys, bass, or drums) preferred
- Willingness to learn and utilize Ableton Live
Production
- Working knowledge of audio, video, and lighting systems (consoles, switchers, routing, fixtures)
- Previous production experience strongly preferred; ministry leadership experience preferred
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in conflict resolution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational/administrative skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Ability to learn and use Emmanuel’s systems (Rock, Planning Center, etc.) and learn and adapt to new technology
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team in a flexible and cooperative manner, self-motivated
- Demonstrate confidentiality and discretion when handling personal and ministry information
- Demonstrate a servant heart with spiritual maturity and sensitivity

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time during rehearsals, services, and events
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work at elevated heights when necessary
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and crawl in order to set up or troubleshoot equipment
- Ability to safely push, pull, lift, and move equipment (e.g., speakers, instruments, cases, staging elements) up to 75 pounds using proper equipment and technique
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and wrists (e.g., operating instruments, soundboards, and computers)
- Ability to work in environments with varying noise levels, including exposure to loud music and production audio
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by ministry events
