Summary of Role: Emmanuel Church is seeking a creative and collaborative videographer to help capture and tell the stories of what God is doing across our church. This role includes filming, editing, and producing video content that supports ministries, events, weekend environments, and digital platforms.
The ideal candidate is a strong visual storyteller who enjoys both the creative and technical sides of video production. They should be confident behind a camera, comfortable editing, and able to manage projects from concept to final delivery while working closely with pastors and creative team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Capture and produce video content that supports church-wide initiatives, ministries, and events across all campuses
- Film testimonies, promotional pieces, ministry highlights, and storytelling content that reflects the life and mission of Emmanuel Church
- Edit and deliver engaging, high-quality video content for weekend services, events, and digital platforms
- Capture footage during weekend services and ministry environments for use in storytelling and marketing
- Collaborate with the Digital Discipleship Pastor and Media and Marketing team to concept, plan, and execute creative video projects
- Manage assigned projects from concept through final delivery, including scheduling, filming, editing, revisions, and file organization
- Maintain video equipment and help steward creative resources well
- Support video needs for special events, campaigns, and church initiatives
- Other related tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma required; Some college or equivalent relevant experience preferred
- Experience in videography, video production, film, media, or a related field through work, freelance, education, or volunteer environments required
- A portfolio or examples of previous work required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take feedback and adjust creatively
- Willingness to learn new tools and adapt as technology evolves
- Ability to learn and use Emmanuel’s systems (Rock, Planning Center, etc.) and learn and adapt to new technology
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team in a flexible, fast-paced, and cooperative manner; self-motivated
- Demonstrate confidentiality and discretion when handling personal and ministry information
- Demonstrate a servant heart with spiritual maturity and sensitivity

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time during video shoots, services, and events
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work at elevated heights when necessary
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and crawl in order to set up or troubleshoot equipment
- Ability to safely push, pull, lift, and move equipment up to 50 pounds using proper equipment and technique
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and wrists (e.g., operating instruments, soundboards, and computers)
- Ability to work in environments with varying noise levels
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by ministry events
