ROLE
Interested in growing in the faith-based media industry? We’re seeking a highly-skilled Studio Manager to lead and elevate our in-house media efforts — a true “Swiss Army knife” of video production who believes storytelling can change lives. This is a high-impact role for a film creative who wants their craft to serve eternal purpose.
Based at our Plano, TX headquarters, this leader owns the video production process end-to-end — from planning to filming to editing – ensuring every story we tell reflects excellence and eternal impact.
You are both filmmaker and leader. Just as comfortable behind the camera as you are managing workflows, gear and production schedules, you thrive in fast-paced environments where creativity serves a greater purpose. You’ll oversee studio operations, steward equipment and resources well, and ensure every production is executed with clarity, excellence and efficiency.

Studio Management
- Own day-to-day operations of the in-house studio, ensuring it is organized, functional and production-ready.
- Foster a collaborative, organized, and excellence-driven studio culture.
- Manage studio scheduling and usage for internal teams, talent, and external partners as needed.
- Manage a range of high-quality in-studio and organic on-location video content and production logistics, including but not limited to: interviews, podcasts, social media, testimonials, lifestyle, product, event and documentary-style content.
- Work closely and consult regularly with the Director of Media in the 360 planning, filming & editing process of videos and to meet specific goals.
- Manage video workflows, scheduling, timelines and assets to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Collaborate closely with Media, Creative, Marketing, Communications, Social & Editorial Teams to align video content with ministry strategy, messaging and campaign goals; Translate creative briefs into clear production plans, timelines and logistics.
- Coordinate schedules, crew needs, equipment requirements, and shoot logistics.
- Organize and keep track of all media travel & portable drives, camera equipment, etc. Assist in the management of media gear. (i.e. inventory tracking, maintenance and troubleshooting, equipment checkout/in, repair/replacement/upgrade recommendations).
- Enforce safety standards and stay current on video trends and tools, best practices and emerging production techniques.
- Recommend improvements to studio layout, equipment, and workflows to elevate storytelling quality and efficiency.
Lead Videographer
- Serve as lead videographer / director of photographer (DP) for in-house studio projects and assigned offsite filmings.
- In partnership with the Director of Media, conceptualize, shoot and edit video content for podcasts, social media, web, campaigns, digital platforms (short- and long-form), internal videos, etc.
- Operate professional video equipment, including but not limited to cameras, lenses, lighting, audio, stabilization systems, hard drives, etc.; troubleshoot on set as needed.
- Handle multi-camera shoots, directing talent when needed, and ensuring strong framing, lighting and sound.
- Maintain high visual, editorial, and storytelling standards across all deliverables.
- Bonus: Capture on-set still photography when needed to complement video content.
- Ensure digital files and hard drives are delivered to supportive editors.
- Provide technical guidance and training related to studio equipment and production workflows, when needed.
Editing
- Supportive in-house editing when needed of various sources of media; applying color correction, sound design, motion graphics, platform-specific optimization, etc., while incorporating feedback and following the brand consistencies and standards of e3 and IAS initiatives.
- Adapt video content for multiple formats and aspect ratios (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, paid ads, web, etc.).
- Ensure deadlines are met and maintain schedules and targets.
- Help integrate graphics and technical specs for video projects, when needed.
- Provide video content feedback to other team members on assigned projects.
Ministry
- Has the duty to interact with others as an ambassador of faith.
- Tasked with performing duties according to the Word of God and Biblical standards as drawn from the Holy Scripture.
- Serves as a messenger or teacher of faith according to e3 Doctrinal statements and beliefs.
- Has a duty to assist others to cultivate intimacy with God and growth in Christ-like character through personal and corporate spiritual disciplines.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & PREFERRED SKILLS
- Must share a digital portfolio and/or samples of past work.
- To be considered, you may be asked to complete a filming test at our in-house studio during the interview process.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Film, Media Production, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5–7+ years of professional experience in video production, filmmaking or studio operations (mid-level candidates with strong experience will be considered).
- Demonstrated experience managing or owning studio workflows and equipment.
- Strong hands-on experience with professional camera systems, lighting and grip and audio capture for interviews and productions.
- Solid understanding of media workflows, video production workflows (pre, production & post) brand consistency, and best practices across web, interactive and social media channels.
- Proficiency with industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Frame.io, etc.). Bonus in DaVinci Resolve & After Effects.
- Comfortable working in a Mac environment with advanced knowledge of media-related software and tools.
- Photography experience is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Detail oriented with ability to juggle multiple projects, address priorities and needs and meet deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset with other team members is a must.
- Bonus if you have Drone experience and FAA Part 107 certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Bonus if you have experience in faith-based, nonprofit or mission-driven organizations.
