Job Description: Assist the Campus Pastor with the vision for Discipleship Ministries at Free Chapel Alpharetta, including Next Steps, School of Discipleship, and Connect Groups. Help people move from attending to belonging by developing leaders, facilitate classes, and connecting individuals to serve teams and small groups.
Next Steps Overall Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support all classes and facilitators.
- Plan and facilitate monthly Next Steps classes.
- Coordinate classroom setup, materials, registration, and communication.
- Maintain accurate attendance and follow up personally with participants after each class.
- Help participants identify and join appropriate serve teams and small groups.
- Coordinate with ministry leaders to ensure each participant receives timely connections.
- Recruit and train additional teachers and volunteers as needed.
School of Discipleship Overall Responsibilities:
- Oversee teachers and teachers training
- Set up and teardown classrooms and logistics
- Collect and report all classroom logs and attendance data
- Follow up with all absentees
- Recruitment of new teachers
- Launch of new classes
- Oversight of orientation and graduation
Groups Overall responsibilities:
- Support and maintain existing groups
- Oversee group/leader transitions and reconnection process
- Process applications and background processes
- Launch new groups
- Help plan major events
- Host and lead bimonthly group leader meetings for consistent training
