About Crossroads Church
Crossroads Church is a growing multisite church in Newnan, Georgia, with a mission to help people become disciples of Jesus. We believe the Church exists to make fully trained disciples who know Jesus, live like Jesus, and live on mission for Jesus.
Our Worship Teams create compelling gatherings where people encounter God and connect with Christ and His Church through passionate worship, healthy relationships, excellence, and faith-filled expectation. We are committed to developing leaders, building healthy teams, and multiplying disciples.
Position Summary
The Worship Leader role is a key role in our disciple-making mission. This position helps lead our church in worship while developing worship leaders and musicians who serve throughout our campuses and Next Gen ministries.
We are looking for someone who is a disciple of Jesus, loves the local church, and is passionate about both leading worship and making disciples. This role requires strong platform leadership, relational leadership, team development, and a heart for shepherding people.
The ideal candidate is a worship leader who can play an instrument, lead a room, build teams, and raise up other leaders.
What You'll Do
Lead Worship
- Lead worship during weekend gatherings and special events.
- Create compelling worship gatherings.
- Lead confidently from the platform through music, transitions, prayer, and communication.
- Collaborate with staff in planning compelling gatherings.
- Work directly with production leads and teams
Develop Teams
- Recruit, onboard, and develop musicians and vocalists.
- Lead rehearsals with preparation, excellence, and encouragement.
- Build healthy teams culture and team engagement.
- Identify and develop future worship leaders.
Disciple People
- Shepherd and care for worship team members.
- Help team members take next steps in their relationship with Jesus.
- Support participation in Community Groups, Impact Groups, mentorship, and leadership development.
- Partner with Campus Pastors to create a disciple-making movement within Worship Ministry.
Provide Ministry Leadership
- Oversee worship bands and vocal teams.
- Schedule and coordinate volunteers.
- Create rehearsal resources and performance tracks.
- Participate in weekend debriefs, planning meetings, staff meetings, leadership
- gatherings, and special events.

- Strong communicator both on and off the platform.
- Able to lead people spiritually and musically.
- Committed to personal growth as a leader, musician, and worship leader.

Qualifications
- Experience leading worship in a local church setting.
- Strong vocal ability.
- Proficiency on guitar or piano.
- Experience leading teams and volunteers.
- Understanding of worship ministry philosophy and theology.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced ministry environment.
