First Baptist Church Arlington is seeking a talented, mission-driven Digital Media & Design Associate to help tell the story of what God is doing in and through our church. This role combines graphic design, digital communications, social media management, marketing strategy, and creative storytelling to engage our church family and reach our community.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Experience creating content for social media platforms.
Familiarity with website content management systems (WordPress preferred).
Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, and digital advertising strategies.
Canva experience is a plus.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Collaborative spirit and customer-service mindset.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design & Creative Production - Create high-quality graphics for print, digital, environmental, and promotional applications. - Develop ministry logos, event branding, signage, website graphics, social media content, and large-format displays. - Transform concepts, ideas, and ministry goals into compelling visual stories. - Elevate everyday communications into engaging, on-brand experiences. - Deliver polished, production-ready files while maintaining excellence and attention to detail.
Digital Communications & Social Media - Manage and maintain the church website with fresh, timely content. - Oversee daily social media operations across multiple platforms. - Manage the church's YouTube channel, including uploads, optimization, and scheduling. - Develop content that reflects the church's voice, mission, and values. - Monitor analytics and engagement metrics to improve effectiveness and reach.
Marketing & Communications - Design, write, and distribute church-wide email campaigns. - Lead integrated promotional campaigns across digital, print, and event channels. - Partner with ministry leaders to promote events, initiatives, and ministry opportunities. - Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and visual identity across all communications.
Project Management & Collaboration - Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously from concept through completion. - Coordinate timelines, expectations, and deliverables with ministry teams and communications staff. - Participate in brainstorming, creative planning, and campaign development. - Receive and implement feedback with professionalism, humility, and a commitment to excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a desire to use creative gifts to serve the local church. - Bachelor's degree or technical training in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. - Minimum of three years of professional graphic design experience. - Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence across digital and print design.

WORK SCHEDULE & EXPECTATIONS
- Full-time exempt position. - Typical schedule is Sunday through Thursday. - Occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays are required to support church events and ministry initiatives. - Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines with professionalism and grace.
