As the Graphic Design Manager, our ministry wins when clear, compelling, and excellent design helps people take their next step with Jesus and strengthens the mission and vision of Foothills Church.

A successful Graphic Design Manager is confident in our systems, workflows, and brand standards within their first 90 days. After one year, they are fully connected to the life of Foothills Church, inspired in their creative calling, and actively seeing God use their work to impact people and ministries across the church.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design & Creative Execution

• Design sermon series graphics and supporting visual systems.

• Create social media graphics and digital content assets.

• Design printed materials including posters, postcards, invites, booklets, and signage.

• Design apparel and merchandise for church-wide and ministry-specific initiatives.

• Create graphic assets for video projects and motion content.

• Design web and app graphics in coordination with the Online Content Manager.

• Lead event promotion design for church-wide and ministry-specific events.

• Coordinate with local print companies to prepare and deliver print-ready files.

Collaboration & Teamwork

• Work closely with the Creative Team, all FC ministry leaders, and creative volunteers

• Assist the Videographer with a variety of video projects

• Participate in creative brainstorming and concept development.

• Receive and apply feedback with humility and a desire to grow.

• Balance creative execution with collaboration and revisions in a fast-paced environment.

Leadership & Development

• Help lead & develop a volunteer design team and creative culture

• Assist in building and maintaining design systems, templates, and brand consistency.

• Continue learning, improving, and developing creatively and professionally.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience.

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

• Strong design sense with attention to detail and brand consistency.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Flexible, team-oriented mindset with the ability to take critique well.

• Self-starter who is eager to learn, improve, and grow.

Preferred

• Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Lightroom.

• Familiarity with Asana and Slack or similar team tools.

• Experience in a church or ministry context.

• Basic video shooting and editing experience.

• Actively engaged in the life of the church and willing to pursue deeper connection and growth.

EXPECTATIONS

• Work on Sundays, with a maximum of two missed Sundays per year.

• Attend and participate in weekly team meetings.

• Collaborate across ministries and departments as needed.

• Maintain organized files and workflows.

• Contribute to a healthy, encouraging, and excellence-driven creative culture.
