Worship Director
Restored Community Church | Eagle, Idaho
Full-time Regular | Reports to: Senior Pastor
Restored Community Church is seeking a full-time Worship Director to lead our church in Christ-centered, biblically grounded worship. This person will oversee the planning, preparation, and execution of weekly worship services, special events, and ministry gatherings that glorify God and help people encounter His presence.
The Worship Director will be both a skilled musician and a shepherding leader who develops, equips, and encourages servants while cultivating a culture of authentic worship. We are looking for someone with a servant’s heart, a commitment to excellence, and a personal walk with Jesus Christ that is evident both on and off the platform.
About the Role
The Worship Director is responsible for leading and developing the worship ministry at Restored Community Church.
This includes selecting and arranging music, leading rehearsals, coordinating with pastoral staff, collaborating with the Production Director on audio and visual elements, and mentoring worship and tech team servants in both musical skill and spiritual growth.
This role is central to creating worship environments where the church body can worship freely, authentically, and in alignment with the vision and values of Restored Community Church.
Key Responsibilities
The Worship Director will:
Lead and oversee worship for weekly services, special events, and ministry gatherings.
Plan weekly setlists in coordination with the Senior Pastor and Production Director.
Schedule and lead rehearsals for worship and tech teams.
Recruit, train, develop, and disciple worship and production servants.
Provide musical and spiritual leadership to the worship and Choir ministry.
Collaborate with the Production Director to support excellent audio, video, media, and livestream execution.
Use worship planning tools such as Planning Center Online and presentation tools.
Maintain a library of worship music, charts, arrangements, and ministry resources.
Help shape the worship culture of Restored Community Church in partnership with the Senior Pastor.
Lead with humility, excellence, and reliance on scripture and the Holy Spirit.
Be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ and personally adhere to Restored Community Church’s Statement of Faith.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
Associates degree in Worship Arts, Music, Ministry, or a related field, or in lieu of degree, 5 years of experience in leading a Worship Ministry.
Proven experience leading congregational worship in a church setting.
Proficiency in at least one primary instrument, guitar and/or piano.
Strong vocal ability and experience leading worship teams.
Knowledge of audio/visual technology and worship presentation software.
Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, mentor, and encourage servants.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Discipleship
The ability to guide others through encouragement, mentorship, accountability, and spiritual care.
Technical Awareness
A basic working knowledge of sound systems, stage production, media, livestream support, and worship presentation tools.
Creative Collaboration
The ability to bring fresh ideas while remaining faithful to biblical truth and the mission of the church.
Work Environment
This role is primarily on-site in Eagle, Idaho, with occasional off-site events or special gatherings. The Worship Director will regularly interact with staff, servants, and congregation members and will provide leadership and spiritual guidance to worship and tech teams.
The role requires vocal and physical stamina for services and rehearsals and may include exposure to loud music and sound systems.
