The Production Director is responsible for working alongside the Creative Arts Pastor in all elements of production in the areas of audio, video, lighting, media, and video broadcasting with the goal of producing excellent experiences at weekend services and other church events.

Leadership
- Ephesians 4:11-13 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.
- Participate in staff, volunteer and creative meetings.
- Develop a team that is fully qualified to serve the Lord by serving one another.
- Serve as the primary leader for our Production ministry.
- Oversee the Production ministry to match Grace Church’s vision, core values and culture.
- Communicate with staff/leaders of other churches for growth, to gain insight and develop ways to improve the effectiveness of the programs.
- Care for people by praying with them, offering biblical wisdom, reading Scripture together, and/or mentoring them in their walk with Christ.
Production DirectorResponsibilities
- Identify, invite, train, and empower volunteer leaders to be a part of Production.
- Produce excellent and distraction-free services and events.
- Oversee proper operation of audio, lighting, media, and video broadcast equipment.
- Work with the Broadcast Audio Engineer and Broadcast Director on Sunday mornings to create an excellent video broadcast experience.
- Create and model a culture that strives for excellence and consistent improvement.
- Seek out and implement new technology and resources that improve Sunday morning experiences.
- Troubleshoot and fix any issues that may arise during Sunday morning experiences or during the week.
- Develop and manage a volunteer schedule through Planning Center Online that is delivered to your team well in advance.
- Oversee stage design
- Serve on the creative planning team along with the Creative Arts Pastor and other creative element leadership.
- Prepare and manage Propresenter and media computers.
- Oversee and schedule FOH audio engineers.
- Oversee Sunday Photography
- Ensure that teams are fully staffed each week.
- Establish processes and systems that help team members create a consistently high-quality experience.
- Oversee the maintenance, and operation of all audio, video broadcast, lighting, and media production equipment.
- Develop detailed knowledge of operation and integration of all equipment.
- Put measures in place to ensure that equipment and supplies are secured against damage, loss, or theft.
- Assess current and future technology needs and create acquisition strategies.
