About Temple City Church
Temple City Church is a thriving non-denominational church in Selma, North Carolina, with an average weekly attendance of around 1,200 people and a growing, diverse congregation. Our staff includes 13 full-time and 7 part-time team members, working together to pursue our mission of being a loving, missional, and serving church.
We are not a “country club” church. Our heartbeat is reaching people far from God and serving our community in tangible ways. Temple City Church serves as the model church for Recovery Alive, Inc., one of the fastest-growing Christ-centered recovery ministries in the country. God has blessed our church with tremendous growth. We recently completed construction of a new balcony to expand our worship space, and we are currently in the middle of an exciting campus expansion campaign that will include a new lobby, gymnasium, kids ministry area, and additional staff offices.

About the Role
The Production Director will oversee all aspects of production for Temple City Church, helping create excellent, distraction-free environments that support worship, teaching, and ministry.
This leader will be responsible for managing systems, training volunteers, and continually improving the technical excellence of our services and online presence.
The Production Director will report directly to the Worship Pastor and Executive Director and work closely with the Creative Directoras part of a collaborative ministry team.
This is a full-time position, and relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Production Leadership
- Oversee all production environments including audio, lighting, video, livesteam and cameras, visual presentation and LED wall.
- Ensure all systems are operating at a high level of excellence for weekly services and events.
- Help develop systems and workflows that support long-term ministry growth.
Livestream & Broadcast
- Oversee and improve the church's livestream experience.
- Manage broadcast systems and camera operations.
- Assist in developing a scalable and engaging online presence.
Volunteer Leadership
- Recruit, train, and develop production volunteers.
- Build a healthy and growing volunteer production team.
- Provide training and mentorship across all production roles.
Technical Oversight
- Maintain and steward all production equipment
- Manage lighting systems, camera systems, audio console, and broadcast softwares.
- Help evaluate and implement future upgrades and improvements.
- Ensure all visual presentation is loaded weekly including sermon graphics and notes, lyrics and worship backgrounds, pre-service announcements, etc.
Team Collaboration
- Participate in weekly staff planning meetingds and monthly all-staff gatherings.
- Collaborate with worship, creative, and pastoral teams to execute services with excellence.
- Support the overall mission and vision of Temple City Church.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 3-5 years of ministry production leadership experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in producing excellent services.
- Strong working knowledge of FOH audio, lighting systems, camera operations, and livestream/broadcast technology.
