The Team Lead of Experience leads the total Sunday experience across all environments—worship, production, communication. This role ensures that every person who attends TC3 encounters a warm, excellent, gospel-centered environment that reflects the heart of Jesus. The Team Lead of Experience leads with authenticity, discernment, ownership, deep excitement about people, and a commitment to developing leaders who elevate the experience of every guest and member.
This role does not “run Sunday”—it builds the leaders, systems, and culture that consistently deliver a high-quality, spiritually impactful weekend experience.
Core Responsibilities
Lead and Oversee the Full Sunday Experience
- Ensure every service environment—from the parking lot to the platform—functions with excellence, warmth, and clarity.
- Build systems that support a distraction-free, spiritually transformative worship experience.
- Maintain consistency across services and special events.
- Shepherd the experience teams with authenticity and gospel-centered leadership.
Lead and Develop Experience Lane Leaders
- Invest in the Worship Leader, Production Director, and Communications Director.
- Build leaders who develop leaders—empowering them with responsibility, clarity, and coaching.
- Cultivate a team culture marked by humility, ownership, and emotional/spiritual health.
- Provide honest, constructive feedback that grows individuals and strengthens the team.
Worship + Production + Communications Integration
- Align worship, production, and communication rhythms so every Sunday is unified and cohesive.
- Ensure series artwork, music planning, production elements, and communication assets support teaching and vision.
- Maintain clear expectations and accountability for service planning, preparation, and execution.
- Uphold excellence standards with a relational, encouraging, and collaborative leadership posture.
Communications & Brand Alignment
- Oversee execution of communication strategies for series, events, and church-wide messaging.
- Ensure the TC3 voice remains consistent, authentic, and mission-aligned.
- Work collaboratively to deliver timely promotions, clear content, and compelling storytelling.
- Guard the clarity and consistency of what people hear, see, and feel.
Systems, Planning, and Execution
- Lead weekly Experience Team meetings and alignment conversations.
- Maintain Planning Center service plans, schedules, and operational workflows.
- Support cross-department collaboration with Team Leader of Ministry and Team Leader of Operations.
- Own timelines, deliverables, and execution—leading teams to follow through with excellence.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Sunday experience evaluated weekly with actionable improvement.
- Experience lane leaders fully supported, aligned, and thriving in their roles.
- Worship, production, and communication functioning in a unified rhythm.
