Hello!

I'll start with who I am, and not just what I do.

I'm a music lover, truth seeker and a follower of Jesus, and that shapes how I move through everything else in my life, including my work. I care about doing things that help others, being honest in how I lead and how I treat people, and staying grounded in something bigger than the job in front of me.

Outside of work, you'll usually find me writing, producing, playing music, listening to music, flying my drone, editing video, working out, spending time reading the Bible, at a coffee shop, enjoying and audio book, watching movies or simply sitting with a guitar in my hand. I also enjoy playing chess, bowling, spending time with my family at home or especially at my nieces soccer games! - I enjoy and find peace attending Church events and being with my Church family and friends. (Very soon to be Bayside/Adventure Church of Yuba City) - I grew up in a faithful and musical household - Music has always been a place where I can slow down, create, and just be present, and it connects directly to the professional path I ended up on. My faith is and has been extremely important and monumental to my growth as a person. I have seen changes in my life in the last 6 years that are beyond words and all Glory to God, Jesus is King.

Professionally, I'm an Event Technology lover - with 14+ years of experience in the full-service audio-visual and live event industry, including over 7 years in direct leadership, spanning operations, technical training, and hiring. I've built my career working with organizations including Pinnacle Live, PSAV, and AVMS In the Sacramento and Bay Area.

My most recent position held was an Audio Visual Venue Director with Pinnacle Live, specifically overseeing Sales and Operations at The Hilton Arden West. I managed technical crews and owned live event execution across this high-volume hotel and have also had plenty of experience with larger convention spaces as well as hosting smaller virtual/Hybrid/Livestreams. Overseeing everything from system design to team leadership and client-facing hospitality, boots on the ground, cable running, taping and stagehand work and everything in between.

My technical foundation began with coursework in Communications and Multi-Media at Yuba Community College, followed by studies in Audio Production and Audio Engineering at The Los Angeles Film School.

I bring deep expertise and a massive passion across the full spectrum of live event production: Audio will always be my first love however!- (Live and Studio)

Beyond the technical side, I have a track record of managing tech crews and leading teams across venues, convention centers, event spaces, and houses of worship. I communicate effectively across all levels of hierarchy, work equally well independently or as part of a team, and bring a sales and hospitality background that rounds out my client-facing skill set. I'm also comfortable with Microsoft Office 365, Mac OS, Windows/PC systems, and basic IT support.
