About

Dear Church Leadership,

I would like to express my interest in the Worship Pastor position at your church. I would like to share a bit about who I am, my calling, what I am currently working on, and why I would be honored to join your team.

I come from a family of pastors and musicians and began singing and playing music at a young age. As the son of a music producer, I grew up in recording studios, recording vocals and instruments for various projects. For a season, music was simply a hobby—until God called me into worship ministry during my teenage years.

At the age of 16, while worshiping alone with my guitar, God gave me a vision: I saw a large crowd worshiping together with me, and it felt incredibly real. Just days later, during a prayer gathering with other teenagers, God gave me another vision—this time of me leading worship around the world, from large stages to remote indigenous villages.

Although I had been accepted into a university program in journalism and advertising, I initially pursued a different dream: becoming a physician. For three years, I attempted to gain admission to medical school. At 18, during a season of deep distress, I asked God for seven confirmations over seven days, doubting that anything would happen. Yet He answered every single day. Two experiences from that season changed my life forever.

The first was a passage of Scripture that has since become the foundation of my life—Philippians 3:7–14. Through it, God confirmed my calling and reoriented my priorities toward Him. Those verses brought clarity and direction to my ministry:

“But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. (…) I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. (…) But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

This season of my life also involved profound, Bible-based supernatural experiences and a strong visitation of the Holy Spirit, through which God granted me peace and clarity as I prepared for ministry. Following these confirmations, I began studying theology at a Baptist seminary and serving faithfully in the local church, which recognized my calling and ordained me as a Worship Pastor three years ago.

Alongside my theological training, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Music, with a focus on music production. Later, I completed an MBA in Executive People Management and Leadership through distance learning. Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s in Ministry, which I plan to advance into a Master’s in Divinity.

Now, allow me to briefly share about my family. I have been married to my wife, Suzana—the love of my life—for three years and eight months. She is not only my greatest support and an incredible wife, but also a gifted worship leader with a powerful yet gentle voice that carries the presence of God. She serves alongside me in the English Ministry at PIB Curitiba, where we lead worship together and co-lead a small group. We are also experiencing God’s faithfulness as we raise our son, Mateus—our first child—who was born in September and has transformed our lives in the most beautiful way.

I am drawn to your church primarily because of my deep love and passion for reaching people around the world with the gospel. I strongly believe in the power of a healthy local church to proclaim the good news—not only within its local community, but also by discipling and sending leaders who are empowered by God. For this reason, I value a church that remains firmly rooted in biblical truth while boldly and compassionately loving those who are lost.

I am also deeply drawn to serve in this mission because I sense a calling to the United States. While I cannot fully explain it, I have long felt a desire to serve the body of Christ in this nation. I currently serve in an English-speaking ministry, and most of the songs my wife and I have written are in English. I believe there is a God-given purpose in this journey.

With my background in pastoral leadership, worship ministry, music production, and people development, I believe I could be a valuable addition to your team. As a foreign pastor, I also hope to contribute to cultivating a global vision—one that transcends cultural boundaries and unites people in glorifying God.
