Worship & Connections Pastor
Forest Park Church is seeking a Worship Pastor who will also play a significant leadership role in shaping our volunteer culture and helping guests take meaningful next steps into community and service.
Forest Park Church is a mission-driven congregation serving many unchurched and de-churched individuals, along with people from diverse denominational backgrounds. Because of this, our worship culture is intentionally accessible, thoughtful, and pastoral in tone.
This role is for a leader who not only shapes meaningful worship experiences but also helps people take next steps into community and service.
What You’ll Do
• Lead and oversee worship services and special events
• Build, train, and care for worship, production, and tech teams
• Collaborate with the Lead Pastor to plan creative, engaging services
• Design and manage clear pathways from first-time guest → engaged volunteer
• Recruit, equip, and celebrate volunteers across worship and connections
• Assist with ensuring strong guest follow-up and next-step systems
Who You Are
• Passionate about leading Spirit-sensitive worship that is theologically rich and accessible to people from diverse church backgrounds
• Energized by building teams and developing leaders
• Organized, dependable, and calm under pressure
• A pastor at heart who values relationships, integrity, and unity
• Comfortable leading musically and administratively
• Experienced with (or willing to learn) Planning Center and worship tech tools
Details
• Full-time, salaried position (40–45 hours/week)
• Reports directly to the Lead Pastor
• Reports indirectly to the Directional Team
• Flexible work environment
• Located in Elizabeth City, NC
