We’re looking for a reliable team member to join us part-time, working up to 20 hours per week. Availability on Sunday mornings, Wednesdays in the office during the day, and Thursday nights is required.
ROLE SUMMARY
This role supports the worship director by leading the campus worship team and completing administrative tasks. This includes managing scheduling, coordinating rehearsals, communicating with team members, and ensuring that all necessary resources and materials are in place for Sunday worship services. Additionally, the coordinator helps maintain records, track team participation, and address any logistical or organizational tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the team. By working closely with the worship director, the coordinator ensures that all efforts align with the vision of the ministry and that the team operates efficiently and effectively.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the Worship Director and team to choose and finalize weekly setlists.
Plan songs and service flow; gather necessary resources for the team.
Ensure all song files, including vocal parts, roadmap, and chord charts, are available and updated in the Planning Center Online (PCO).
Communicate set notes and changes to the team.
Oversee Thursday rehearsals, set up, and tear down of equipment, and Sunday soundchecks for your campus.
Coordinate with the Production team to ensure smooth execution.
Distribute the worship team itinerary, GroupMe chat, and musical tracks for Sunday services.
Lead worship through piano accompaniment and vocals during services.
Connect with Worship Captains and team members and provide direction and support.
Provide updates of Sunday services to the Worship Director weekly.
Plan and organize Team Nights with the Central team.
Track and follow up on workflow cards from Grow Steps for potential worship team members.
Reconcile budgets and process purchases using Abacus.
Purchase team items (e.g., snacks, ear buds, etc.) as needed.
Lead Huddles when assigned
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
An active member of Grow Church
Strong administrative skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to problem-solve and think critically
Flexibility in adapting to changing plans and schedules
Must have strong, reliable vocals and the stamina to sing multiple services while maintaining vocal health and excellence
Proficient in piano with experience playing in live worship settings.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED
1-3 years of related work experience
